Meet a Houston Mom | Meet Dhee Ramos of the Mom Life | West University Moms
Hi Dhee – we cant wait to learn about you!

Where are you originally from?
We are originally from Los Angeles and moved to Houston in 2019. My husband grew up here though!

How many kids do you have?
I have two curly boys! A 5-year-old and 2-year-old. My youngest has an angel twin brother in heaven.

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
I am a certified homebody. I spend 80% of my time at home. I even do 90% of my shopping online including groceries!

What do you love to do in Houston?
We actually do different activities and visit different attractions in and around Houston at least twice or thrice a month. We love exploring the city and checking out new places!

Besides being a mama, what do you do?
I am a nurse turned full-time motherhood and family travel content creator. I am the momma behind THE MOM LIFE (@themomlifevlogs). I share anything and everything motherhood and things to do with kids in different cities.

I own Social Works Agency (www.socialworksagency.com), a social media management agency helping small businesses. I am also a co-owner of Katy’s Best Custom Shutters and Blinds, a local, veteran-owned and family-operated window treatment business selling shades, shutters, blinds, patio shades and retractable garage door screens.

How has the Houston community helped you get to where you are today?
Texans are very friendly and supportive especially with small businesses and I am thankful for that!

What advice can you give about juggling it all?
Prioritize, organize, outsource and build a support system. As a stay-at-home mom of two young boys and a business owner, I learned that prioritizing and being organized is very, very important. Outsourcing some of the work helps to free up more time for me to focus on more important things and lastly, do not be afraid to ask for help. Sometimes, moms need another set of hands and that’s OK. It takes a village to raise a child.

What would you tell the old you before having kids? Take advantage of your freedom and sleep a lot! Once you have kids, your time and energy will be more limited. I wouldn’t trade being a mom for anything though!

Do you have any shortcuts in parenting?
Oh, geez! There is no shortcut in parenthood. I wish! Hahahaha!
