How has the Houston community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I’ve been here for only 2 years so I am still exploring possibilities, which are quite vast and varied here, I am constantly meeting new people and encountering different scenarios. However, I feel people are very encouraging and positive here!
I’m the founder of Cypress Moms Network which will be launching this fall! For now, I have been running our social media while I work on the production of the website. I can’t wait to connect the Cypress Community with our local resources and events going on in our area. The community has been very supportive so far and I’m very excited for what the future holds!read more
The support I’ve received from Houston business owners and local bloggers is absolutely amazing! The mommy bloggers are such a beautiful community that never knew existed prior to having launched Wonderland Soft Play. In honor of West University Moms’ Two Year Anniversary, I wanted to give a little glimpse into my background. The opportunity to start this community has been something that I never would have dreamed of. One of my personal favorites is running around Rice University and through West U early in the morning with fellow mom friends. As a family, we love walking/scootering to and playing in the West U parks, swimming and goofing off outside at The Briar Club, and frequenting the local museums that we’re so fortunate to have in Houston.read more
