One thing people would be surprised to know about you…

I am a journalist, but I have never practiced my profession. But I love connecting with so many families and sharing our message to raise awareness about the importance of keeping their families healthy with our amazing service.

Favorite local activities to do in Houston?

We love to discover new places where the kids can have fun in a safe way and where we can all enjoy some quality time together as a family. They have a lot of fun at the zoo and we also really like to go out and enjoy a delicious meal in places that have a playground or games for the kids.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

About a year ago we had the opportunity to get on this adventure of starting our small family business. We believe that health is the most important thing we can have since without it we cannot do anything. As parents, we want to provide our children healthy environments free of viruses, and bacteria. This is how Houston Bin Sanitizer was born from our own family necessity and the big opportunity to grow our business in this booming industry. We knew that this could have be a challenge that many families were facing like us that is when We decided to start offering to Houston families our curbside trash can cleaning service where we sanitize, disinfect, and deodorize their trash and recycle bins with 200-degree of course giving you the peace of mind that we are not leaving any mess behind since our cleaning unit is able to haul that nasty water away from your loves ones. Our website www.houstonbinsanitizer.com is open 24-7 to book your appointments. We usually go the day after of your trash and recycling pick up days to make sure they are empty. Our main social media platform is instagram find us as Houston Bin Sanitizer.

How has the Houston community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

The support that we have been getting from day one has been a blessing because our first 30 days in business it was pretty much servicing family members and friends but then they started talking with their neighbors, co-workers, etc It was when we realized that we were investing in the right service industry. All of our customers that we have been serving in the past 17 months they have been so thankful and kind with us that not only they have been giving us the opportunity to protect their loves keeping their trash cans clean we also have been helping them with their exterior cleaning areas ass house wash, patio, driveway, pool deck and even some of their businesses.

What is the best advice for juggling mommyhood and running a business (or volunteering, working, etc)?

It’s perfectly okay to feel overwhelmed, stressed, sad, and drained sometimes, but if you don’t force yourself to get out of that situation, no one is going to do it for you. Every day there is something to fight for and of course, we can do it. So never give up, because what you have been longing for may be just a few steps away.

What would you tell the old “You” before you had kids?

Sleep a little bit more, because you are never going to sleep again… lol

Funniest shortcut/routine for helping you through parenthood?

On Saturday nights, before I go to bed, I always make sure that I leave my kids their favorite snack. That way, I can sleep a few extra minutes on Sunday.
