I have been a big part of helping my husband open an automatic transmission shop called Clutch City Transmissions. I’m a woman of many jobs, between helping at the shop and catering to three kids and now starting a small business venture selling playdough kits. I’ve always been super crafty with my kids and wanted to share my ideas with other kiddos and started Creating with Playdough Kits as a hobby that has taken off quickly in Houston.

How has the Houston community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

People I’ve met are willing to help and give me advice. I find that I make great connections with people easily and the community is so supportive!

What is the best advice for juggling mommyhood and running a business or volunteering work?

Making time for a glass of wine! Trying to become successful is twice as hard with kids.

Funniest shortcut/ routine for helping you through parenthood?

Dropping them off with the in-laws to give you time to gather yourself
