Meet A Houston Mom | Meet Vy Collett, CEO of Limitless Solutions | West University Moms

Where are you originally from and how long have you lived in Houston?

I was born in Silver Spring, Maryland, and moved to Houston as a child. Both of my parents are from Vietnam.

Children’s names and ages:

I have 4 children (3 boys and a girl)  – Carlisle 7, Genevieve 5, Corriden 3.5, Calbreth 2.

Favorite local activities to do in Houston:

Our activities revolve around the kids – we love anything outside especially McGovern Centennial Gardens where the kids can run around and explore.  When the weather is nice we love to bring food and snacks for a picnic on the grass.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!

Yes I am the Co-Founder and CEO of Limitless Solutions our services include

Custom Home Building- building a one-of-a-kind house that is designed for you and for your particular location. We can use plans created by an architect or collaborate with you to design your custom home.

Design Services – Planning and organizing resources, infrastructure, communication and material components in order to improve the quality and the interaction between and your needs.

Modular Construction – Building a structure off-site, under controlled conditions, using the same materials and designing to the same codes and standards as conventionally built facilities but in about half the time-saving costs.

Renovations – Improving a broken, damaged, or outdated structure, whether it be commercial or residential, by our process to provide you a seamless experience.

HVAC – Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services specializing in commercial and residential systems. Our goal is to provide superior thermal comfort and acceptable indoor air quality at a reasonable expense.

Roofing – Installing or repairing the covering of the top of a building, serving to protect against rain, snow, sunlight, wind, and temperature extremes, constructed in a wide variety of forms—flat, pitched, vaulted, domed, or in combinations.

How has the Houston community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

The community is the “KEY” to our growth – we started just helping family and friends and have grown through word of mouth. Houston is such a loyal and supportive community, we are grateful!

What is the best advice for juggling mommyhood and running a business (or volunteering, working, etc)?

Being mindfully present – because they know if you are distracted!  Whether you are spending time with them or working, focus on each one separately, it makes a difference on so many levels.

What would you tell the old “You” before you had kids?

Throw out all of your expectations!
