There’s a new exhibition in town and we’re here to tell you all about it!
Sure to delight the LEGO® enthusiasts in your life, the Awesome Exhibition is making
Houston it’s next destination for over 30 displays made entirely of LEGO® bricks! Running
through December 30 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, all displays are broken
out in four themed rooms each with dedicated interactive zones for everyone to channel
their creator and build their own creations.
What are the themed zones you may ask? We’ve got you covered!
1. An Awesome Journey: This zone transports you to different landmarks around the globe
with replicas of Sydney Opera House, the Space Needle and unique wild animals like the
kangaroo, platypus, a family of penguins and so much more!
2. Let’s Go to the Movies: Get nostalgic with the iconic 1981 Delorean time machine
reminiscent of Back to the Future, The Simpsons TV with the signature living room on
screen, a Godzilla and even a LEGO® screening room!
3. The Danger Zone: Thrilling transportation devices will be in this zone like a replica of the
first submersible to reach the deepest place in the ocean a.k.a the Trieste Bathyscaphe, the
largest truck in the world the Caterpillar 797 Mining Truck and equally thrilling animals like
the redback spider, a crocodile and orca.
4. Brick by Brick: A giant LEGO® brick and LEGO® snake wall where attendees will be able
to place their own creations and help build the world’s longest LEGO® snake wall!
PLUS: Upon each entry you will receive a LEGO® passport that will be stamped at each
room as a commemorative gift.
