DIY: Sugar Scrub | West University Moms

Moms, it is time for you to take a little extra time in the shower and make it feel like a trip to the spa. Turn on the TV, call a sitter, book some time to yourself over the weekend, or get the kids to bed and take a lovely quiet shower at night just so you can experience this amazing Sugar Scrub.

This is an easy way to feel like you are treating yourself while taking care of your body and wellness in addition to everything and everyone else you take care of. This sugar scrub is perfect for your body and it serves as a great exfoliant for your face once a week or so, too! Not to mention, It smells divine! So, next time you’re baking with sugar, keep it out on the counter and give it a try… after you eat those delicious muffins you baked, of course.

Sugar Body Scrub

Mix the following ingredients until It becomes a paste. Use as a body scrub, face exfoliant and lip scrub!

1 cup of sugar (you can use any type)

1/2 cup of almond oil, or coconut oil

Juice of half lemon, orange or grapefruit

20-30 drops of essential oils

Favorite Oil Combos: orange and vanilla, rosehip, or lemon
