While pregnant with my first born, I had a million+1 doubts of whether I should go back to work. The question bounced around in my mind for months – 9 months to be exact! How has the Houston community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Houston has been a special city for us, we got engaged here, got married, bought our first house and our two kids were born in Houston as well. Since we don’t have family here, we have met friends that have become family. I can say Houston has giving us everything, that’s why we loved this city.
What is the best advice for juggling mommyhood and running a business (or volunteering, working, etc.)?
The most difficult thing when you are a mom and an entrepreneur is finding balance in your life. So my advice is to learn to manage time in a way that you feel comfortable and happy. Everything can’t be done at the same time, so just be patience and prioritize.
What would you tell the old “You” before you had kids?
I would say: Lina sleep more and read more!!!!
