Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in Houston?
DASH: DASH was born in Houston, Texas! The four of us are were born all over, but we’ve been Houstonians for at least 50 years.

Between all of us, we have 9 kids that range in age from 20-30.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
Angela Poujol: I was a Kilgore Rangerette… you can still find me dancing!
Favorite local things to do in Houston?
We are always on the lookout for new local vendors and artisans to showcase at the DASH market. Exploring different neighborhoods, festivals, and other local events help us scout the best talent for our market.
Do you have a favorite family-friendly restaurant in the area?
Yes! You can never go wrong with Island Grill. It’s easy dining and delicious.
What is your go-to activity for yourself for pampering or for fun?
We love getting out on the tennis courts and playing with our friends.
Funniest shortcut/routine for helping you through parenthood?
Drinking wine/champagne in a Swell bottle at all the little league games.

What is the best advice for juggling mommyhood and running a business (or volunteering, working, etc)?
Be present with your family when at home and be present at your office when at work.
What would you tell the old “You” before you had kids?
Enjoy every minute because we live in a time warp. It goes by so fast!
