With the quarantine and summer right around the corner, summer camp in Houston is on everyone’s mind and thanks to Camppedia, we are able to update you.
Camppedia has been in contact with many camps: while a few chose to close for the summer, most camps plan on opening and adjust their programs depending on the rules and restrictions. The biggest problem is the uncertainty, as neither the state or federal authorities have issues any real guidelines for camps.
They have several confirmed camps for summer and are trying to update all camps on our site as info is available.
Many providers are already accepting registrations for summer, even though they are not sure when will open. A few providers are choosing to convert to virtual programs or develop virtual programs to run in parallel with their in-person ones. (e.g. online camps currently confirmed on Camppedia – we keep adding new ones).
