One of my favorite things about Houston is all the nooks and crannies to be discovered through word of mouth or simply getting lost and stumbling upon a location you just can’t turn away from. Last week, I found Rowan and Birch through a combination of both!
I had driven past this unpretentious yet upscale salon off Edloe Street a hundred times and serendipitously, a wrong turn on the way home led me to Mandy, Holden, and Alyssa – the three owners and stylists of this fab studio. After working together at different salons, they came together to merge their experience, passion and expertise.
The space is white and bright with birch trees and a grassy-ish wall and basically, I would like to move in! Alyssa delivered a totally natural-looking highlight balayage.
This girl walked in feeling drabby and emerged with a new shade of gloss!
