“I am currently the Financial Vice President of The Junior League of Houston. It is an incredible organization committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

At the beginning of this year, I founded a nonprofit organization Twelve Basketfuls Outreach, that assists people in need. At the moment we are fundraising for a mission trip to a small village in Corozal, Belize next month. We will be assisting with food for struggling families as well as providing the youth with soccer equipment and uniforms.

Being a present wife and mother is a non-negotiable for me and I am strict with my calendar and time. I have learned to implement the importance of time management using the 4 quadrant method. I have also learned in the last 23 years, that many things we perceive as urgent and important, are not.

“I am a registered dietitian with Rooted Wellness, a private nutrition practice specializing in women’s health. My areas of focus include nutrition for fertility, prenatal and postpartum health as well as early childhood nutrition.

I help women cut through the “nutrition noise” they are constantly bombarded with and guide them towards evidence-based, proven methods to enhance their well-being. I work with clients to understand their reality and identify small changes that can make a real difference.
